Programme management

One page for a piece of work that lasts months

Events are evenings and days; a programme is the months around them. It names a piece of work and gives it one page where events, volunteers, beneficiaries, tasks, milestones, documents and money are read together. Nothing is typed twice.

What you can manage

Everything for Programmes, in one place

Programme overview

Purpose, manager, period, locations and status: planning, active, on hold, completed.

Events

The events that belong to it, with their people and hours.

Volunteers

Everyone who worked its events, and anyone assigned to the programme directly.

Beneficiaries

Who it is for: a child, a community or a donor on record, or a counted group.

Milestones & objectives

Targets with a number and points on the way; progress is worked out from them.

Tasks

What has to be done, with priorities, dates and overdue marks.

Budget & raised

Planned, approved and spent budget, and what linked campaigns raised, read live.

Documents & reports

Files on the programme, and progress, people reached, hours and money across all of them.

How it flows

Four steps, one record

  1. 1Create the programme with objectives and milestones
  2. 2Link its campaigns and events
  3. 3Assign volunteers and record beneficiaries
  4. 4Follow progress and report to the board

What it raised comes from the campaigns

Link the campaigns that fund a programme and its raised figure is read from their donations, live. There is no second money figure to keep in step, and the donor who gave is still one click away.

Questions

Questions about Programmes

What is the difference between a programme and a campaign?

A campaign collects donations. A programme is the work they pay for: events, volunteers, beneficiaries, milestones and a budget. Link the campaigns to the programme and what it raised is read from them.

How is progress measured?

From the milestones when there are any, from the objectives with a number otherwise, and from the calendar when there are neither. Overdue tasks and milestones are marked.

Who can be a beneficiary?

A child, a community or a donor Zohanex already has a record of, or a counted group it does not, so a programme can report the people it reached without registering each person.
