Each event can issue a QR code for the entrance. A volunteer scans it, types the email address on their record, and is checked in or out without a team member touching anything. No account and no password needed.

Questions about Volunteers
How are volunteer hours recorded?
Hours are the time between a check-in and a check-out, recorded at the desk, by QR code, or entered afterwards. They are summed per person, per month and per event; nobody types a number of hours.
Can a volunteer also be a donor?
Yes. A volunteer record can be linked to a donor or a team member, so the two records name one person and nothing is entered twice.
Can we recognise volunteers?
Yes. Badges, certificates, milestones and awards are recorded on each volunteer’s record with a date, and the reports show hours by month, skills and statuses for the board.
